Please tell us a little bit about your company – what is Webibazaar Templates all about?
Webibazaar templates is a marketplace where business owners who are willing to take their business online can purchase our newly designed ready-to-use theme for their desired platforms like PrestaShop, Shopify, Opencart, WordPress, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.
We also provide custom theme designs for our customers so they can upload their store content easily and start selling their products or services. We have a dedicated team of 17 people with different abilities to fulfill our customer’s needs.
Tell us a little bit about your background and how you started your company?
I belong to a city called Surat. It is located in the Gujarat state of India.
As I completed college in the IT field, I and my business partner Romit Sachani started creating our first ever website theme for the platform known as opencart as a startup business in 2016.
We got a positive result about what we did. We hired a small group of people to work with our company and we started selling our themes on some of the well-known website templates marketplaces.
As we kept growing we also had hard times struggling to get sales but we didn’t lose hope. We stayed consistent and started creating themes for different platforms like Opencart, Prestashop, Shopify, Woocommerce, WordPress, BigCommerce, etc.
We got a positive response so we have now jumped into creating our marketplace where people can get many different options to choose their business-related templates and create their perfect eCommerce website.
What are your plans, how do you plan to grow this company?
Our main goal is to reach new website designer authors and ask them to upload and sell their products in our marketplace so visitors who are coming to our store won’t leave our store without making a purchase and our designer authors can earn easily from their designed themes.
We are focusing on developing every business category theme for all the platforms so customers can find the one that relates to their business and start creating their store even if they are a newbie and don’t have technical knowledge of coding.
Of course, this may take some time to build a huge marketplace but nothing is impossible if you are on the right track and have a dedicated team to work on the desired goals.
What was the biggest problem you encountered building this product? and how did you overcome it?
As we were crafting & creating new products we were worried about finding customers and getting sales. We were sure that our product would help many business owners to take their business online and provide the best service to fulfill their desired needs.
We started promoting our products on social media platforms and also used Facebook and Google ads to reach our target audience. We also started working on Digital marketing and implemented some strategies which get us traffic to our store and convert into sales.
What were the top mistakes you made starting your business and what did you learn from it?
The mistakes we made at starting were to learn about Terms and Conditions for each platform. Now we have learned lots of new things from Rules and Regulations and we try to implement them in our present work.
According to me, each business struggles and makes mistakes at starting but those same businesses will learn a lot from the mistakes they made and will try harder to reach their desired goals which is the key to grow your business.
How do you separate yourself from your competitors?
We mainly focus on providing the best service to our customers because we saw many people struggling later as they purchase website themes from big marketplaces and they end up without creating their online store due to late services and other issues.
So we took website services as a serious factor and try to fix their problems
ASAP within a single day or sooner than that. This thing makes us different from our competitors.
Customers who have worked with us have more trust than any others so this is what matters at last. Having great bonds with your customers can make your work easier and worthwhile.
What is one thing that you do daily to grow as an entrepreneur?
If your business is growing that doesn’t mean you are done with your work, you will have to focus on what’s coming new for your business and your customers, learning new things and implementing them in your business is the best way to stay updated and provide best of the best to your customers 🙂
