Please tell us a little bit about your business – what is your company all about?
I am currently treating patients at my state of the art medical center, Aesthetics Rejuvenation. I focus on providing the latest technologies and treatments for the face, body and breasts. These include face and neck lifts, tummy tucks, facial skin treatments, breast reduction and Liposuction. I have adopted the newest technology on the market and specialize in Liposculpting for women.
My focus with any procedure is to focus on sculpting the body, creating natural curves and shapes in the body that enhance the patients features. I see each patient’s body as a piece of art, instead of just removing all fat. My goal is to help my patients reach their desired results.
Tell us a little bit about your background and how you started your company?
I completed my Plastic Surgery Fellowship from University of South Florida and from there served as the president of the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and on the Board of Trustees for the American Academy of Cosmetic surgery. I then had the opportunity to hold numerous leadership positions within the medical community, one of my most noteworthy accomplishments is serving as Chairwoman of the World Congress on Liposuction in 2017.
I have spoken at many conferences over the years regarding cosmetic procedures and techniques. This is important to me as I remain dedicated to educating both patients and surgeons alike about the latest advances in cosmetic surgery.
I am excited to learn about new technology and bring them into my own practice, Aesthetic Rejuvenation, as I believe in providing the best and safest results for my patients.
What are your plans for the future, how do you plan to grow this company?
As stated previously, I am extremely excited about the future of medical aesthetics. I truly believe that with every advancement in technology treatments are going to be more accessible, have less downtime, be more safe, and provide better results. I am excited to grow this company with the growth of technology.
I understand that the learning portion of my career will never end- and that is what excites me. I am excited to learn new techniques in medical aesthetics and adopt new practices that will give my patients the best results possible.
How have the pandemic and Lockdown affected you or your new business?
The pandemic and lockdown affected Aesthetic Rejuvenation greatly as we are a medical practice. Being a medical practice in the height of a pandemic is never easy and something we had to greatly adapt to.
Our accessibility to patients became extremely limited- Covid restrictions were put into place and the safety of my patients and my employees were of utmost importance. This slowed down business, people were understandably afraid to enter medical buildings and did not see medical aesthetics as something of dire need so we did see a decrease in patients.
Luckily we have very safe, clean, and Covid-compliant office regulations so our patients are able to feel comfortable and well taken care of at Aesthetic Rejuvenation.
How do you separate yourself from your competitors?
Along with keeping up to date with the latest technology I pride myself in being able to take every client’s needs and wants and transform them into results. No two procedures are ever the same, because every body is different. I take the time to get to know every one of my patients and learn about what they dislike about their appearance and how we can approve it, whether it be a skin tightening, fat removal, or sculpting treatment.
Tell us a little bit about your marketing process, what has been the most successful form of marketing for you?
Aesthetic Rejuvenation participates in multiple forms of marketing but I feel the most seen and used by future and existing clients is social media. We are active on Instagram, Youtube and Facebook. When people are looking to have an aesthetic procedure done the first step usually taken is looking for before and after photos on social media.
I also believe it to be very beneficial to post testimonials so other inquiring patients can have trust in our center. I find social media a great way to provide information about our newest services and educational material about all treatments offered.
What are you learning now? Why is that important?
I am currently learning and mastering the skill of combining multiple treatments into one. For example, I have found the combination of Renuvion and ultrasound liposuction (Vaser) to be extremely effective. This is a great option for those who have additional weight they are looking to reduce and areas they want to sculpt and contour. Liposuction with internal ultrasound will give debulking of fat and Renuvion skin tightening technology can be used at the same time to shrink wrap the skin though those tiny incisions. This procedure is perfect for those who want to tighten their skin and remove excess fat in a single visit.
This is important because it is giving the most optimal solution to my patients with the least procedural time as well as downtime.
What helps you stay driven and motivated to keep going in your business?
What helps me stay driven and motivated is seeing the change in confidence and happiness in my patients after a procedure is completed. The results seen by my treatments are grand. It is important for women to also take care of themselves- they spend every day taking care of others, children, families, work problems so I take pride in providing a space where women can come in and take time to focus on themselves. I find motivation and a drive to keep advancing my practice when I see my patients satisfied with their treatments received by my team and I.
What is your definition of success?
My definition of success is when the steps I have taken to advance my practice, knowledge, and skill set are seen in the results, success, and satisfaction of my patient’s procedures.
How do you personally overcome fear?
I personally overcome fear by facing fear head-on. I believe that to overcome anything you have to first understand it, which I do by researching, speaking with my colleagues and others in my field, and educating myself. Once I have knowledge of something and know many aspects of it I feel less fear and more confidence.
What is your favorite quote?
One of my favorite quotes is:
“Your words have so much power. Every day, say “I love you” to yourself. If you give yourself one mantra or phrase of validation, it will change your mind.”
—Ashley Graham
