In her own life as a commercial real estate broker, Galit owns and operates Commercial Professionals, where she has sold over $900 million in commercial property in Las Vegas over the past 25+ years.
She has won many awards, including recognition in the Top 100 Real Estate Agent’s Magazine as the Women Behind the $1 billion Commercial Real Estate Company, by P.O.W.E.R. magazine as a top Commercial real estate broker and entrepreneur, and in Wealthy Woman Magazine as the Entrepreneur of the Season. She has promoted her corporate educational program, Empowering U, on networks such as ABC, NBC and Fox, which offers corporate training, workshops, retreats and professional speaking.
What is Empowering U all about?
My company, Empowering U, offers employee training in sales success, leadership, mindset, effective communication and more. I work with HR Managers to create programs that will benefit their employees and maximize profits for the company. I also work with privately owned businesses to show them how to put systems in place, market, effectively work with their employees and more to maximize profits and minimize expenses. Lastly, I am a sought-after professional speaker in the areas of entrepreneurship, communication, sales success and more.
Tell us a little bit about your background and how you started your company?
My 1st company is commercial real estate and I started that business 25 years ago. I have built a billion-dollar company through my methods of sales, building relationships, networking and team. That led me to want to show other women how to be successful in business and that it is possible to reach 6 and 7 figures in your business, doing what you love, building a successful team and enjoying your life at the same time. That is when I started working with women individually and in groups to share with them the methods I used and continue to use with each business I start.
What are your plans, how do you plan to grow this company?
I plan on growing my company through systems, proven methods and spending more time adding to my team and focusing on my area of expertise. I also plan on implementing more group programs in place of only one-on-one mentoring so I can maximize my time and make the biggest impact by supporting and working with women in their business.
What were the top mistakes you made starting your business and what did you learn from it
My top mistakes were trying to do everything myself in place of working with a team and delegating as well as doing things I really was not so great at when there was someone that is an expert in the area that I am not. I learned about how valuable putting together the right team is for success in your business. How delegating out work is a key to success and learning from others that may know something that I don’t is important to make money in your business.
