Teodora Sakulski has a Degree in Fashion & Textile Design with qualifications in Web Development from SAE Institute and Quantitative Methods for Finance from the New York Institute of Finance. She has been greatly involved in E-Learning Development, working for the United Nations University, University of the Free State in South Africa, UNESCO, and various global companies. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in UK Law.

One of her great loves is the practice of Soul Realignment, for which she is now a certified Advanced Practitioner. She is the creator of the popular, one-of-a-kind online course Embodying the Self through a Refined Lens, which enables individuals to become masters of their image.

What is Embodying the Self through a Refined Lens all about?

The Embodying the Self through a Refined Lens course is the first course of its kind! It gives you valuable tools to transform yourself from the inside out; to visibly express the truth of who you are – your Divine Self – from how you dress, to how you ‘show up’ in the world.

Tell us a little bit about your background and how you started your company?

I have always been in love with art. In all its glorious forms! Because of this, I studied Art History, and Fashion & Textile Design. At the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, I realized how important it is to marry a good, sound knowledge and talent for art and beauty to a concrete foundation of modern business practice which led me to pursue qualifications in Web Development as well. I’ve always loved teaching and was lucky to have been involved in E-Learning Development for NGOs and various global companies. One of my greatest loves, however, is the practice of Soul Realignment, for which I am a certified Advanced Practitioner. It involves intuitive healing modality to unlock Soul-level potential.

All this has led to the creation of Embodying the Self through a Refined Lens (#embodyexp), a one-of-a-kind online course which enables individuals to become masters of their image.

What would you say are the top 3 skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur, and why?

Being a “successful” entrepreneur means different things to different individuals. We should not let society’s definition of success define our own views.

Knowing who you are at Soul-level and what your Divine Gifts are will shape what kind of an entrepreneur you are Divinely most gifted to be.

Entrepreneurship should enable you to step into further alignment as a Spiritual Being, able to experience and create even more self-expression and financial abundance.

What are your plans for the future, how do you plan to grow this company?

My wish is to help as many individuals as I can to step into alignment with who they are at Soul-level, and then express their Divinity through their personal image and authentically ‘show up’ in the world like never before.

How have the pandemic and Lockdown affected you or your new business?

To really be authentic within myself and with teaching a course about a very transformative, psychological, physical, and sensitive subject, I needed to discover who I truly was at Soul-level too. The process is rewarding but also asks a lot of tough questions and delves into your deepest self. It was the most refreshing challenge I have ever been faced with.

Launching my business during a pandemic came with its own set of difficulties to overcome, but I’m here, and it was all part of my own personal journey!

How do you separate yourself from your competitors?

I specialize in making one’s personal image, from the way they dress to the way they ‘show up,’ a playground for their Soul’s self-actualization; to make individuals understand that using our personal image as a form of our Soul’s self-expression is the key to happiness and self-acceptance. My expertise is unique; there is no other course like it, and my client’s testimonials are proof of that!

What makes me stand out from the rest? I can help transform ideas of self from a Soul-level, and not just the egotistical, or physical levels. It’s a powerful process with sound and quantitative methods, and can change people’s lives! How many can say they do that?!

What were the top three mistakes you made starting your business, and what did you learn from them?

There is no right, proven path to success. And it won’t be reached if you’re attempting to do or create something that isn’t authentic and aligned to who you are at Soul-level. It’s not about the business model or the technique, it’s about aligning to the truth of who you are and making business just another form of self-expression.

Tell us a little bit about your marketing process, what has been the most successful form of marketing for you?

Being in authenticity and standing for my truth and always striving to be a key supporter in advancing consciousness at every level has allowed me to sell and market my course with the utmost confidence to my clients. The proof is in their testimonials!

What have been your biggest challenges and how did you overcome them?

One of my biggest challenges was not being conscious of how certain blocks and restrictions were holding me back from fully expressing who I was and creating abundance in my experience. I overcame this by finding out exactly who I was at Soul-level, what these negative patterns were, and why I was still perpetuating them, and how to change that and stop sabotaging myself!

What was your first business idea and what did you do with it?

The South African Board of Business Women held a course on entrepreneurship at my school (Cornwall Hill College). We had to participate in a junior and senior entrepreneur fair to use our newly gained knowledge. I had an idea to make unique denim handbags and with my mom’s help, did just that and won an award for it!

What are you learning now? Why is that important?

Right now, I am learning how to access more Vital Force Energy so that I can step further into my Divine self-expression. It’s important because the more I delve into my craft, the better I can serve my clients.

If you started your business again, what things would you do differently?

I wouldn’t do anything differently as my business is the result of massive personal transformation, experience, knowledge, and vision.

What are the top 3 online tools and resources you’re currently using to grow your company?

I aim to connect with people, so I go to relevant Social Media platforms to educate and entice. I also run seminars and webinars when needed, and networking and word-of-mouth have been my most successful resources to date.

What’s a productivity tip you swear by?

Our society values productivity A LOT! It also often confuses productivity with Creation. Most people spend time reproducing someone else’s work. Production has its necessary place and is often how we learn to become innovative; we must eventually depart from this and use our originality and creativity for authentic Creation to come up with something that is original and new to us.

Can you recommend one book, one podcast, and one online course for entrepreneurs?

I’d recommend the book: Damn Good Advice (for people with talent!) by George Lois. It offers lessons, practical advice, facts, anecdotes, and inspiration, in a quirky and witty way.

If you only had $1000 dollars to start a new business, knowing everything you know now, how would you spend it?

Advertising is key. You can have the best product or provide an out-of-this-world service but if no one knows about you or your business, you’ve got nothing! Where do you hang out? Where do you consume other advertising content or engage in it? Get very specific about where and how you consume other advertising and that’s where you will get results.

What helps you stay driven and motivated to keep going in your business?

The ability to change someone’s life is no light matter – and when I see how beneficial my course has been, it brings joy and drives me to keep going! Helping others become aligned to their Divine Nature and authentic self-expression through personal image has been one of the biggest motivators in my career.

What is your favorite quote?

“If I had asked my customers what they wanted they would have said a faster horse.”

– Henry Ford

What valuable advice would you give new entrepreneurs starting out?

Find out who you are at Soul-level! Seriously, even if you’re not a “believer,” give it a shot! There is something within yourself that creates a spark and will save you years of needless trial and error. Entrepreneurship aligns to your Divine Soul Blueprint, and this too, will save you time and money, and ensure desired results.

Who should we interview next and why?

Me, again, in a year’s time when I’m a millionaire!

What is your definition of success?

Success means being determined to show up as the best version of myself because that’s what my course strives to accomplish!

How do you personally overcome fear?

Fear is an illusion. Danger, on the other hand, is very real. Fear is often a way for the ego to keep one “safe” and in their comfort zone so that change and/or growth does not occur.
